Research and teaching interests: Peace and conflict studies, modern Middle East, peacebuilding and post-conflict reconciliation.

Dr. Khoury's recent publications include “Simulating Reality: A Necessary Path to Critical Thinking and Perspectives among Students” (in Peace and Justice Studies: Critical Pedagogy, Routledge, 2019); Post Conflict Reconciliation in the Middle East” (in Oxford Bibliographies in International Relations, Oxford University Press, 2018); and, with Faten Ghosn, “Bridging Elite and Grassroots Initiatives: The Road to Sustainable Peace in Syria” (in Post-Conflict Power-Sharing Agreements: Options Syria, Palgrave Macmillan, 2018). She is currently co-editing a book on genocide denial, to be published by Routledge in 2021.
